Meditation and Alpha Brain Waves



Alpha Brain Waves are an indication of more calm activity in the brain. Alpha brain waves have long been considered to be regarded as the healthiest brain wave range, but also the “safest” brain wave range to entrain – especially at 10 Hz (e.g. 10 cycles per second). These brain waves cycle between the frequency of 8 Hz – 12 Hz. They are usually generated in synchronized manner which natutally connectes both hemispheres of the brain. Alpha waves are the experience you have when your body and mind are able to relax. If you have ever done meditation, yoga, or even felt relaxed while drinking alcohol – then you have already experienced alpha brain waves.

Alpha wave activity is typical among very creative people with a clear mind or are experiencing relaxation.  By closing the eyes for about a minute, anybody can cause their alpha brain waves to increase. That is exciting to know when consdering meditation and alpha brain waves.  On the other hand, as one opens one's eyes, the beta waves become the controlling pattern.  

When in Alpha state, we are more able to utilize our psychic senses and higher mental and spiritual abilities. We live in an age of "frequencies" and most people assume that the higher the frequency, the better it is. Well, conceptually that can be true. However, the meditation and alpha brain waves frequency is truly most auspicious. It is the mindset of the yogi, the sage, the meditator and the spiritualist who is absorbed in perpetual spiritual ecstacy. Shortly after waking up in the morning or from a good nap, when we become just a bit more alert, the mind is perfectly situated to work with meditation and alpha brain waves.

This is why having a cup of Green Tea or Tulsi Tea right after waking up makes one feel so good and mentally refreshed. They alter brainwaves! Alpha waves are quite important to experience third eye opening. In today's fast-paced society, it is becoming more important then ever for us be able to induce alpha state via meditation. It is obvious that people talk very fast these days, and live at a truly fast pace, but is this the healthy way for us to be living?  Most experts in these areas already know that it certainly is not, and that relaxation by working through meditation and alpha brain waves is essential for wellness. As we learn how to relax and slow down, we naturally become more creative, acceptable by others and healthy. Im not advocating slowing down to the point of seeming retarded, Im only saying...lets put on the breaks just a bit. Ive tried it and it actually works.

A lot of people these days assume that talking faster is a sign of higher intelligence, when it is actually a symptom of potential unrest. In short, as a global society we all need to slow down considerably, take a deep breath, encourage all to do the same, and the brainwaves will become better aligned. The global consciousness will shift. Some people try to use medication for aligning brain waves at will, and the good news is that with the right skills, anybody can do it all naturally! People are also using technologies to alter brainwaves, when we are already equiped with the telekinetic (PK) power to do this instantaneously for maximum health, total healing and wellness.
